Timeline

Hi guys, In this activity the pupils will have to create a timeline with the Kings of Spain during Modern Age so they can  clear up any kind of confusion with the dinasties and identify clearly which century each king belongs to. After, they  will research at home some pictures of the kings and they’ll paste it next to the timeline. Finally,  it would be awesome if they can add some important event to each date, if any. It might be useful the following links: https://www.timetoast.com/timelines/the-modern-age-in-spain-00b0d674-b05c-4006-9367-abff0bb70b8b I hope this information is of interest to you. Have a good day! Cristina Gallardo

Activity: My vegetable farm

Hi everybody! The activity I propose is planned for first grade primary class. They create a vegetable farm where they "grow" vegetables and fruits, individually. It is a small class and they are only 7 kids, so no small groups are needed. This activity is related to jobs (social science) and food (english).  Material: - A3 paper - pencil / rubber / scissors - manley crayons - glue - printed images - brown paper As they are young, they have choosen their vegetables and fruits to print and then, they colour them as well as the rest of the elements. When they finish it, they have to present their vegetable farm to the rest of the class. Of course, grammar strucutres and vocabulary are practised in class. Hope you like this idea  M.
